Mission Statement
Boarding in IAPS schools

Many parents choose to send their children to boarding schools. The complete range of high quality boarding can be found in more than 200 IAPS schools, providing a boarding education for 10,000 pupils. There are a few specialist schools in which most pupils board. These tend to be boys only. Others, generally co-educational, offer weekly boarding in which pupils return home at the weekend. This is particularly popular where both parents have full time jobs.

Boarding on demand, "flexible boarding", is usually available in these schools as well as some predominantly day schools, which provide the service to meet the needs of parents.

Most boarding schools offer Internet access to their pupils and have a policy about mobile phones, so that they can be in easy contact with their families and friends.
