IAPS has sponsored and is currently associated with the following charities:
The Benevolent Fund was established prior to 1930 to make grants to former headmasters of preparatory schools who have been members of the Association. Today the charity supports four or five people each year in financial hardship who are former members of IAPS, former officials, dependents and persons connected with education or schools whether the schools are or were members of IAPS or not. Requests are submitted to the Fund and are normally considered at either of the regular meetings, urgent cases may be considered outside this cycle.
Secretary Treasurer – Mr Richard Flower, IAPS, 11 Waterloo Place, Leamington Spa, CV32 5LA.

The Bursary Trust was established under a Trust Deed in 1962 to enable the children of teachers to attend public schools when this would otherwise not be possible for financial reasons. Today the Charity contributes to the fees of four or five children each year. Requests for support are submitted to the Trust and are considered in May, with grants then made for the following academic year.

The Aberfan Disaster Fund was established in 1966 from donations raised in member schools to support education and training in the Aberfan area. The remaining funds are now being used to support the local primary school and it is intended that the charity will be wound up in the near future.
