The U11, U12 and U13 IAPS Girls Hockey Tournaments will take place during October and November 2011 in regional rounds.
U11 Finals will take place on Friday 18 November at Bishop’s Stortford, the U12 on Tuesday 22 November and U13 on Monday 21 November, both at Queenswood School.
Entries from schools should be received by 30 June 2011 at the latest.
Hockey Stars Open Rose Hill’s New Astro Turf
International sporting hero and World Young Player of the Year, Ashley Jackson, visited his old school Rose Hill recently, to open its new astro turf.

Ashley played with other Old Rose Hillians against an International All Stars team at the new facility, before running a coaching session with 35 pupils.Tipped to be the golden boy of the London 2012 Olympics, Ashley was the youngest member of the GB squad in Beijing. He said: “I used to play hockey on the school fields and this is where my passion for the game was strengthened. It’s great for current pupils at Rose Hill to be able to play in all weather conditions on a superb, top quality pitch.”
