School Inspections

Before being admitted to membership, all IAPS schools have to pass a rigorous inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) or, in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, by the appropriate government inspectorate. Once accredited, the ISI inspection process is repeated once every six years.   Inspection reports are:
  • Public - parents can ask to see them

  • Scrutinised closely by IAPS

  • Sent to Ofsted to keep HM Chief Inspector of Schools informed.
